This is a plea to you Icarus! I need a Malfoy-centric story, ficlet, drabble SOMETHING!! I’ve been having horrible cravings; I need to read a Malfoy being sadistic, rude, snotty, oh-so-Malfoy to someone, preferably a person who doesn’t deserve it. It doesn’t have to be today this week, this month but OMG soon. I’m dying…. dead.
Uhhh... I'd like to, but I probably won't be able to write much until Christmas break.
I'm sorry, it's just that Sanskrit is really tough, requiring massive amounts of memorization. There's no way to do that fast. We're moving to two quizes a week following our mid-term this Monday. Um. I can try...
... I can't even think of anything for a two-line drabble.
ah well, it didn't hurt to ask. Good luck with your schooling; I'm feeling the strain as well. Two more semesters to go then I decide whether I'm going to pull for all four years. If UW takes me then I guess I'll have to. Again, good luck.
Go for it on the four years. The classes become infinitely more interesting in the 300 and especially the 400 level. I think it'll make a huge difference work-wise as well.
I really want to feed that Malfoy craving, but you caught me at midterms. I have two back to back on Monday, one at 9:30am, the other at 10:30am, not even ten minutes between them. Then I have 15 pages due Tuesday afternoon.
Sanskrit just picked up the pace. For this coming week I need to memorize 144 word-endings (six paradigms), though I understand there's some overlap between them. We're now moving to two quizzes per week.
Basically I have a test every three days until mid-December.
Unless a story reaches out and grabs me by the throat I can't see myself having time to write before Xmas break.
