This is good. You got the sense of hopelessness right on. The scene feels very realistic. The ending resonated - his vow to get drunk, and the pills. I can see this going to bad places quite quickly.
But I have to say, Ecuador? For a Worlds? :grins: Why did you pick Ecuador?
