I'm still processing Six Apart's decision to delete pornish_pixies and other fanfiction journals (RPG characters? Really? How far from reality can you get?). It's also the run-up week to finals and I'm not admitting how far behind I am.

Someone just pointed out to me that switching over to Basic would kill my ads and a few userpics, but essentially kills any LJ profit from the occasional ad clickthroughs they were getting from me. So I downgraded. It's a tiny protest, perhaps, but one that I won't be in any hurry to change.

That's a pretty good response. We'll have to see if the popular pornish_pixies is among the communities reinstated. That will tell me where they stand on the issue of literature vs. reality.

Christ. I'm against war but I have stories that describe war. There's a big difference.

I just joined as of 11:30 EST and came close to tipping it over the 30,000 mark (I think about 67 more will do it).
