I think we've moved into the wordless appreciation portion of the story. I'm feeling very inarticulate (more so than usual!) - just - ow, ow, ow. And ooooooooooh, Joooooooooooooohn. With a Rooooooodddddddnnnneeyyy thrown in there for good measure.
I feel like I've stopped anticipating the story, and I'm just watching. Actually, I feel exactly like when you're watching on tv and someone gets hurt and you just sit there, almost like vigil, waiting to find out how they are. I'm just waiting for the next statement. Ow.
And I say all this as someone who hasn't particularly watched skating for the past decade. (I spent a few years snarking at the tv - "Jump, jump, spin, jump, jump, spin. Argh." - before walking away.) But I'm starting to get interested now, again.
(Continuing from previous comments: yes, I'm still home sick. I left just to hand in a final assignment for school, but I'm back in bed where I belong. Any and all OOB diversions are most appreciated :)
