oh, good catch. I had noticed some of the differences (especially the music changes), but couldn't put my finger on why, but budget cuts make so much sense. I hope that after the writers strike, Kripke is able to find a way to deal with the money issues, because I don't think they will go away, but I hope they can be worked around (getting rid of a certain female character that Kripke never intended to add -cough Bela - would certainly help.
