Sick and dragging....

Ready or not, wildernessguru is back at his job, and I'm back at school. Both still sick.

I don't know his symptoms, he was gone before I woke up. I'll try to figure out mine by the end of the day but I'm scrambling right now.

I'm really upset about school right now, upset about things with WG right now, worried about not hearing back from the writing center (so much for that job?), and feeling very, very low....

I'm so sorry you're feeling low. I think a lot of it is physical - being sick just makes "things" (any things, any grievances, any irritations) feel worse, and being sick and having to go about your business (work or school) compounds the misery. When you get healthy again I think you'll feel better about life in general, and your own situation, in particular.

I think you're right. Being bummed is a symptom of being sick, but I also had to drop a class that I really wanted to do -- because of this flu -- and I'm upset about it.

That's a good reason to be upset - having to drop a class you really wanted to take. Are you *sure* you can't talk to the professor and get in the class despite your absences (or whatever reason you dropped out of this class)? It might be worth a try. If you go now she can see how sick you really are!!!!
