The RS.org Sleazy Fic Drive!
Jan. 17th, 2003 06:02 pmOkay, other than my own pledge, we have two other people who have agreed. It is now officially a mass movement. ;)
It's official, too. (More or less.) Kissaki, owner of restrictedsection.org says:
"*thumbs up* LOL
I actually think it's a good idea. You can still submit them to submissions@restrictedsection.org. If we are forced to close down, then we can find another house for them. But I think it's a positive thing to focus on. Ta Much. - Kissaki"
All fics are to be labelled: "RS.org fic drive," and are to be posted on Snitchfiction or Ink-Stained Fingers until RS.org is back up and running again.
Send them here!
submission@restrictedsection.org.
If you like you can host them in the meantime here, as an open show of support for restrictedsection.org while it's going through it's rough period.

The quality of the NC-17 stories on RS.org is exceptional. I have yet to spot one that isn't beautifully written.
Some fine examples are:
After the Flood by the infamous Cassandra Claire.
The image of Draco's hand shaking while lighting a cigarette will forever be burned in my mind. An emotional roller-coaster ride redefining the relationship between Harry and Draco a thousand times, in small incremental jumps. I actually think it's better than 'A Season in Hell,' which is unusual for sequels, though common for Cassandra. http://www.restrictedsection.org/authors.shtml
Confection Carnage by Aspen.
Her liquid imagery makes the rare Harry/Ron poetic and appealing. Gentle and child-like, with a remarkable rendering of The Burrow that isn't directly lifted out of canon yet somehow seems tangible.

Quill and Ink by Cybele.
Another where the sequel is better than the original, or in this case, far more off the beaten path. At last! At last! Someone thinks to use Dark Magic for sex! And it's exquisite, thanks to Snape. Harry/Snape. The sheer deliciousness of unusual wishes granted keeps you watching.

The Snow Prince by Rushlight.
An angsty lyrically written Draco/Snape, Lucius/Draco, with visuals that come straight from a painfully pristine drug commercial (you know, that too-blue sky?). Perfect for the false front of Malfoy Manor. Of course it's about power and self-will. Come and enjoy lines like "The sun was a golden coin burning a hole through a backdrop of purest blue-white, without a cloud in sight to spoil the tableau."

Let's celebrate the Restricted Section - the finest selection of NC-17 fics on the internet, bar none. Yes, those are all links to the Restricted Section, and they all work.
