What do you think? I suspect John would have to have a pro deal with Patagonia, since Patagonia is nicknamed "Pata-Gucci."

The OM (Ham radio term, but yeah, means Old Man) windowshops at Patagonia all the time. (He wants to do the Appalachian Trail someday)(or maybe the Pacific Crest, he can't decide) My personal preference tends to be toward the SmartWool type things, because the Capilene type things tend to *really* absorb body odors. One thing that makes their stuff a little more affordable is their end-of-season and close-out sales. That brings the prices down into only slightly exorbitant. I'm sure John would love to have any of the items listed!

Point. I've always liked silk because it's light, um, silky, and doesn't absorb any odors at all.
