I have to say that as my brain went kerplooey (it's a technical term!) I stopped reading because I wasn't able to sustain concentration and memory over the gaps between sections. Recently I've been thinking I'll try again but if you're very near the end then I will possess my soul in patience and then read the entire thing in one self-indulgent day. Probably with chocolates.

I'm sorry, actually, that I kinda dropped off the face of the Out of Bounds, it was nothing to do with you or the story, just my brain.

Isn't this great?! I have thirty more scenes to post of course, and new scenes keep popping out of the woodwork, and occasionally one scene splits like it's, oh, cell division, but now I'm down to single digits!

It's feasible, possible, to get it done and ready for the beta today. Tomorrow is more likely because a couple of the scenes are very, very hard to write.

I've had that happen with, who was it, Cassandra Claire's Draco Trilogy. If a story is updated every week, that's one thing, but more than three weeks and my memory starts to break down.

Ah, well, the only time I've been able to update that consistently was when I was out of work and doing nothing but write fanfic. I never write WiPs deliberately. They sneak up and mug me, pretending to be drabbles.

*pinches fingers together* That close. Of course, I've written numerous scenes (plus a short epilogue, yay!) but a couple scenes have done a little reduplication so despite all I wrote last night, I've only whittled it down to eight scenes to go.

Right, I'm convinced...much nodding happening, here. Imagine all your free time when you're done - well okay, you're scarily busy most of the time but you might have more time to rub your cat once the adventures of mcshep on ice are wrapped up.
