Hmm. Taken to extremes, this is another version of JMS's plea to fandom to *not* write B5 fanfic in case it predicted his own plotlines. The fans (on the whole) complied and there is very little B5 fanfic about. And when the series ended, it *died*. It just stopped, which is an awful shame because it could have been one of the most fun sandboxes to kick about in. But any show showing a bit of respect for fanwriters deserves kudos.
