Upstairs at 4am? Not a good idea.
Sep. 25th, 2011 04:13 amI rent the basement apartment at my aunt's house. This means my uncle lives upstairs.
I have a nice daylight studio (with a fireplace they're going to fix), doorwall to a forest, small room to use as an office and prayer room (I had it as a bedroom at first but no windows meant I slept like a log and woke up very disoriented), my own bath ... and a shared kitchen. Upstairs.
Now four am is a time of day I usually don't see unless I've been up all night. And if I've been up all night, 4am is a time of day I'm not moving very fast. I certainly am not going upstairs to get a snack.
My uncle works very early hours and gets breakfast around 4 or 5am. Apparently. I did not know this before today.
I was tired last night and fell asleep at 10pm or so. Woke up at around 3:30 (wiiiide awake and hungry). Heard my uncle poking around in the kitchen and decided food was a good idea.
Er. Apparently 4am breakfast is a scuff-around-in-your-underwear event.
Yeep. *runs back downstairs*
