Pretty day. Snow, snow, beautiful snow.

The candles are lit and glistening in the windows. All of Seattle is covered in a 4" dusting of powder snow. We never get snow in Seattle. Maybe, once every or two years.

It looks like cake icing.

No classes tonight, the entire city's shut down. You northerners can stop laughing, it's just an excuse to enjoy it.

Now wildernessguru and I are going to cuddle up on the couch, enjoy the candles and pop in a movie.

Purrrrr.

P.S. Updated my website today, though there are still more stories that need to go up.

Mmm, I went to visit my parents and it was all snowy there and oh-so-pretty... Now I'm back in the City of Rain for the next few months...

Thank you. I read it and I liked your visual descriptions and the fact that you were working with OotP Harry. I'd like to see you look deeper at the motivations of Ron and Harry, Ron in particular. How long has he felt this way, why is he coming out with this now when he was the blokey-bloke guy all the way through OotP. When did he get his sudden insight into Harry and change his way of dealing with it (before he sort just gave Harry space) and why? Remember, guys show their feelings with actions, not explanations.

Your descriptive ability is there, as well as on target characterisation. Keep going.
