I think it's because you're a writer (a really good one) and might be more critical of the fics you read. I am not a writer, but I thought I would be a snob becaue typos and poor characterization (and H/D!) drive me mad and usually - but not always - turn me off to a fic.

God, is there any way to answer this that doesn't sound like a smug, "yes, I am *buffs nails in Malfoyesque manner* SUCH a great writer, aren't I?" I suspect that it's just that I read very little fanfiction now. I remember my answers once would have been: "anything in my favourite pairing that doesn't kill them off or make them both sound like 14-year-old teenage girls! And yes, I read anything I can get my hands on."

When I started writing, my reading time went waaaaaay down, because the choice became: do I hunt for Lucius/Percy smut, or just write it? Hmm. Which is easier?

Arkady has a good Percy/Lucius, Impossible, and there are two Percy sites. But they both seem to have been down for a while.

Perfect? (http://www.geocities.com/percy_perfect/)Hasn't been updated since 2002. And not for lack of submissions. But Price of Wisdom is there, and that's a good story.

Positively Percy (http://www.geocities.com/booya_nz/percy.html) - has had a promise of a layout change forever, and it's been shut down forever. Sigh.

I wish I had the time to build a Percy shrine. But I simply don't.

Oh man I forgot about those sites, they've been dead for so long, Price of Wisdom is an awesome fic thanks for the reminder. And of course I liked all of Cairnsey's fics. I'll have to go back and reread some of those stories. (and I need to clean out my bookmarks - I've got too many I don't visit and then I forget about others that I should be surfing!)
