Clooney's right: Obama and my political Christmas list.

Clooney is right. This has been a very successful presidency. Democrats, if you look closely, are a loose coalition of various causes, and each person wants his or her cause to be at the forefront.

As a former Detroiter, that first one in particular resonates with me.

Obama's policies and successes have impacted my life for the better (we'll talk more about that), and also touched on matters (like DADT) close to my slashy little heart. I didn't get everything on my Christmas list, but I'm very happy with what I got.

I agree. I don't understand why some democrats act like they are ashamed of Obama. Probably because of their own hype and not for any failings of the president. All I have to do is think of what would happen if the other guy one and Obama is golden in comparison.
