The fact that he has no choice but chooses anyway. Severus w a t c h i n g! And the whip! (Man, at the whipping scene. How many times have I read that?) The absolute betrayal by Harry of his own morals and emotions and... Jesus! just finally giving in. And the whole grand "screw you all, this is OUR life" ending.
You are picking all my favorite stories. And it's a short list.

Harry's slow journey to discovery is magnificently done, his rebellion, his realisation, THE SEX - on the down side, Draco is there too. I totally recognise his necessity to the plot, and it works, but... Other people go, "Ew, het!" - not me, I have other squicks!
Nah, I've changed my mind. I do have a favourite! Absolution (http://slashcity.org/rushlight/absolution.htm) is the *only* totally one hundred per cent believable rapist/victim love story I have *ever* read. The anger, the hurt, the slow build of trust, the recognition of the limitations of trust. And the non-con sex was hot, too!
So, I've chosen, but I have to say, it's nearly impossible to choose. They are both well-worn copies in my pile of printed fanfic.
