How honest do you want me to be?
Totally honest, of course. I found your comments on the fic interesting. I am not a very articulate speaker so it is often difficult for me to describe why I like/dislike something. I'm always interested in reading what articulate people have to say about things. Anyway, I agree with your comments on the angsty part of the fic, often if I like the way an author is writing the characters I will just say 'this is not like real life at all'and keep reading. So now of course I'm very interested in what you think of 'In This World of Strangers'. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

BTW, have you read 'The Price of Wisdom'? This was the first Lucius/Percy I ever read and I liked it very much. If you haven't, let me know, I can't find the link off hand but I'm looking for it.

When I sent Zortified (aka Jameswalkswithwind, a BNF in the Lord of the Rings world) glowing feedback for this story, he anxiously pointed out that he co-wrote it, and the other author on the team was the main writer.

Trouble is, his name is the only on I can remember. *cringe*

*whew* For a moment there I felt like the mean-spirited guy on 'American Idol' (the one who memorably told one singer she sounded like a cartoon).

I love Price of Wisdom. Okaaaay, the ending where everyone is totally positive about Percy's being involved in *ahem* questionable activities and wanting to 'hop on board' themselves was bordering on the absurd. I'd believe of it of the irrepressible twins, not the others.

But the writer really captured an S/M submissive's attitude and perspective, and the story built tension beautifully. I believed this Percy, I really did.
