icarusWell. After much struggle, it's done. Barring the last tinkering.
I mean my Ron Ficathon piece of course. It is really different from anything I've ever written. It has:
Plot!
Ron/Hermione!
Het!
Quidditch! (Sorry, not an actual game)
Scandal!

salix_babylon said, "it's weird to see something so plot-centric from you."
But I'm not allowed to post it until the 29th. *Icarus twiddles thumbs.*
Now I'm flitting haphazardly from one story to another. Usually I 'stick it out,' burn through one idea till I finish, but I've been interrupted a lot. And my mood kept shifting.
So this weekend:
- I wrote more on that Amnesty Percy/Draco 'Naughty Secrets.' 1200 more words.
- Sent the next two parts of my meandering Ron/Draco WiP 'Reunion' out to beta. This is new for me. I didn't start posting Primer until it was 2/3rds done. I've never attempted a WiP before. Beg Me For It doesn't count -- it's series of independent stories. Each story is supposed to more or less stand on its own.
- Reunion, part four. 1700 more words.
- I tinkered again with Harry/Snape 'Cursed Artefacts For Sale' (yes, your story,tinderblast). 1700 more words.
- Drew SNAFU's Ministry of Magic layout, wrote background on Dumbledore's attack plan and some of Lucius' defences. Loosely outlined Draco's route.
Oh. That's about 15 pages of work, some background and adding beta changes. I did get something accomplished this weekend after all.

Date: 2004-02-10 09:41 pm (UTC)The only time I've ever wanted to write Ron/Hermione was a kinky dominitrix fic I put for the Blame Someone Else challenge. But hey, this story ended up with Moral Dilemmas and that's always a good thing.
If this fic flies, then I will have proved that I can ghost write, because I stuck closely to the challenge writers very specific request.
