I'm buzzed on too much chocolate.

Boy I've been writing a lot. dancing_moon had a wonderful suggestion on how to refry stale fics (ideas that you've had to leave and have gone rancid in the interim). To paraphrase,: you twist them, find a new fresh spin for yourself.

It works!

I'm burning ahead with the Harry/Snape 'Cursed Artefacts For Sale.' Chapter four of Reunion has been sent to AminitaMuscaria and Amanda Blackstone. I've added the beta changes to chapters 3 and 5.

I have another chapter I thought I might insert... eh. I'm not sure about it. I'm waiting for them to nix or give the go-ahead.

Ten more days till I post my Ron Ficathon story. *bounces with impatience.* snoopypez wasn't sure about my community idea, but I think it's going to be hell for her to keep up with the links.

Time to eat more chocolate. What? I'm already awake. *eyes spin*

Just thought I'd let you know there's no _ between snoopy and pez in snoopypez's name, because I clicked on it and nearly had a heart attack thinking she'd deleted her journal or something, and we'd have nowhere to post the fics. :)
Also, can't wait to read your story now that you're excited about it.

Yep. I discovered that, too. Whoopsie. snoopypez. I'm still urging a community over just making a list.

I think a community for 48 stories would put the workload on the writers to post them, and save her the trouble of creating a massive list.

I also think it'll make it easier for people to scroll through and find interesting stories even a month or two after the fact, while a master list would just sweeeeeeep by in LJ.

If there were only a dozen entries, that would be one thing. But no one can read 48 fics in one day.

A week is plenty of time.... O.o

I wrote mine early because I knew it was going to be a problem for me. It was ghost-writing rather than a strict challenge because the bunny was so specific. I heard from a number of people "oh, well you don't have to stick to the bunny" but I really wanted to see if I could.

Mine is a perfectly fine challenge with a pairing that just doesn't normally do anything for me, and so it's being fiendishly difficult to come up with anything original. I'll be like "oh!" "No wait, I've seen that before."

Good! Then at least one person will read it. I haven't been able to snoopypez to do this as a community so the links will be available for more than one day (as her LJ post sweeps by). While 12 stories is doable, 48 is a bit much. *shoulders go limp* But it's not going to be in a community, so it doesn't look like many people will read it.

Oh well. I can post it around later.

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense to me either, but c'est la vie.

Hopefully people will post to their own FLs as well as to the Ficathon, so the love will be spread around.
