Ron Ficathon countdown...

Four more days till the Ron Ficathon. *tap-tap-tap* Impossible challenges, I've heard many, many horror stories of struggles and uphill battles. Slash writers writing Het and -gasp!- Gen. Het writers doing slash and -gasp!- NC-17. Easy pairings that suddenly wouldn't cooperate.

I can't wait.

At least I finished it two days ago, but now I need to find a beta that's willing to read NC-17 slash. With my friendslist, that might get kind of difficult.

Ask salixbabylon and tell her I sent you. Another possibility is blackbanditt who loves to beta. Both have done outstanding jobs on more than one of my stories (including my Ron Ficathon piece).

Let me know how you do. If need be, I can put out an APB. I mean, if there's one thing my friendslist does have, it's slash readers.

snoopypez started a Ron Ficathon in her journal. On Feb 29/March 1 (Ron's birthday) 48 writers who signed up for challenges will post their stories in their journals and she'll post a master list. Since 48 stories is a lot to read for one day, she suggests we put the list in memories.

Writers include mad_maudlin, mamalaz, misspince, mombi_of_oz, madhuri567, electricandroid, hp_femme, ursulakohl, marycontrary, ociwen, thywillbedone, redblaze, snitchnip_chill, lizabethy, lyricalnights, rosesanguina ... just to name the people I know.
