I've just been informed that First Signs Of Magic: Hermione Granger is up for an Ishie Award for March in the mirth category. I like that, given I had to lock myself in the bathroom when I wrote it -- I laughed until I cried.
For all the slash readers, the First Signs Of Magic series remains the most popular and heavily reviewed of my stories.
I actually wrote it because I had just written the three-way PWP Unexpected Guest for the sleazy fic drive and felt like I needed to clean out my mind with a toilet brush. Unexpected Guest is rarely reviewed, but I often get little sidenotes from people who mention... "er... I've read it. Many, many times." LOL!
Do I look pleased?

Date: 2004-03-02 09:58 pm (UTC)Have to tell you, though, that I love best your First Signs of Magic, for Hermione and Draco especially; they're the ones I re-read regularly. I too laugh myself silly over them, every time, and good comedy like that is far rarer than good smut. The Severus one is so close to tragedy, it's quite different.
