Come one, come all, 58 writers have signed up for the Percy Ficathon already.

Sign-ups end March 7th.

I've had a blast matching stories with authors, making some attempt to pair authors with something that's up their alley by reading also what you requested. It's a lot a guesswork, so I'm probably waaaaay off. I have 50 of you matched up already, though there will probably be some switching around towards the end.

Don't worry, generally speaking slash writers are not being given Het, and Het writers are not being given slash. People who asked for Percy/Padma in their requested fic aren't being given Percy/Hagrid as their writing assignment.

The requests range from open-ended 'in denial!Percy' 'give me a happy ending' and 'I like my Percy self-destructive' to specific, detailed plotlines, "I'd like to see tension between prefects" and "some sort of ridiculous misunderstanding involving furniture."

Well, hey, last time I was specific, I asked for something involving windows and I got an exhibitionist H/D, accidental dumbstruck voyeurism on the part of everyone else, thing of beauty, so, you know, I decided based on that one experiment that broadly specific and unusual is a Good Thing. ;)

And the thing with furniture was yours? I sat on my hands when I read Icarus' post, refraining from saying, "Oh! Please! Tell me that's for me!"

Because, yeah, I think that's neat. Have no clue as to how far off the beaten path it is though....
