Congratulations, Icarus!
Your IQ score is nowhere near as bright as McTabby but we knew that 136.

During the test, you answered four different types of questions — mathematical, visual-spatial, linguistic and logical. We analyzed how you did on those questions, which reveals the way your brain uniquely works.

We also compared your answers with others who have taken the test, and according to the sorts of questions you got correct, we can tell your Intellectual Type is an Insightful Linguist.

This means you are highly intelligent and have the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind.

Well I'll be darned. I'm a writer. *snerk*

Well, congrats on finding out that you're a writer!

I ran it through once for real (136) and once with all the math questions guessed (108). Looks like they estimate in 4er steps. I like the "If all Quibbles are Quabbles and some Quabbles are Bobbles..." best.

I wonder what IQ they give you if you get all the answers wrong. And, what kind of thinker are you then? Free mind? ;)

Still, love tests. No idea where that comes from.

I decided that I had to find out what I would get if I answered all the questions incorrectly. I got this:

"Your IQ score is 72

This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others.

Your Intellectual Type is Inventive Inquisitor. You have the unusual distinction of being equally good at math and verbal skills. This means you are a creative thinker and are uniquely good at teaching others through experiences. You are also a great improviser and very good at handling change. "

Now I can't help but wonder if my real score (144, visionary philosopher) is worth squat. :(

Well, my score wasn't that far away from what I usually reach on paper tests, so my guess is you are a fair bit above average. Visionary philosopher as in "good in all four types of question " surely still applies, only now you can add "scientific and inquisitive" for trying out.

But "equally good at math and verbal skills" - what a lovely way to say "you suck equally in both subjects."
