My kitty is fat.

His fluffiness turned to furry blobbiness. He sits up on his "command post"... and a roll sort of, er, pours over the edge. *cringe*

When did that happen? :(

He's still cute. And I'm taking him jogging in the halls now.

Hmmm. Naked WG in the kitchen doing dishes and you are looking at your kitty? Maybe you can manage to get the kitty to jog around the kitchen? Here, I have an idea: get the fishing pole and tie a sinker and a big old crinkled-up piece of paper to the end of the line. Sit at the kitchen table, eyes glued to WG, and cast out the door into the other room and reel back in. Kitty can chase the paper, and you can chase your pleasure. ;-)

Mykitty is blobby-boy now too, but he'll lighten up and quit having swingy belly flab as the season changes. He goes through this cycle every year, and we feed him essentially the same--and he demands that we do, becoming Most Displeased (and back-turning and snooty) if we reduce his portions). He apparently gets enough more exercise rolling around on the shady concrete like an idiot in the summer and then washing the resultant dust away, that he slims down. ?!

Turkey's still not all grown up, but she's too nutters to gain an ounce of spare flesh. If she had any she'd probably chase it off. Literally. She chases her own bum when bored - round and round like a calico top.

Umm. You sure this kitty is male? and still kitty age? However, if it's a mature male, it sounds as if a diet is indicated, as well as a morning run, which he will resist with all his might. Cunningly distracting you from exercising him by entertaining you.

Male, age 4. Indoor cat, so it's an exercize issue, yes. He porked up so slowly we didn't notice. We bought him a 7' climbing tree and that got his weight back down for a while, but the excitement wore off. He's a naturally very active cat but we are his main playmates and although we play with him a lot (chase, hide-n-seek, toy fights, etc.) every day, it's still not enough. We've had him on a new dry food for inactive cats for a week or two (he doesn't eat much wet), so hopefully that'll help.

Hiya! I just wanted to say that I love your fics. :) They are some of my favourites, especially "Hagrid's Hut" and "An Irresistible Photo".

I put my kitty on wet food for a while, but then I switched to dry food. She's an outdoors cat though, so she gets lots of exercise running around outside. Unfortunately, she's getting old, so she's slowing down a bit. :( Poor Scamp.

Oh, yeah, do you think you could friend me? :) Please?

Hi there! Thank you, An Irresistible Photo was actually my first Harry Potter fic. Hagrid's Hut was a spin-off, a missing scene from Primer To The Dark Arts (http://www.schnoogle.com/authorLinks/Icarus).

And of course I'll friend you. Did you want to be on any of the filters? (I filter out my personal stuff from strictly Harry Potter related posts, and I filter out my Buddhist musings for obvious reasons.)
