If you want sentence-by-sentence type stuff, I'm relatively good at that. Not so much with the overall plot in some cases. And I'd prefer no incest, but if necessary I'd do that too. Although you have like four people before me. :D

I don't suppose you like to edit a 650-word lightweight, rather predictable original story and a 6,000-word much more intense original story... would you? :D

There's a little deadline on the short one - I just want to get it off my plate by Sunday night. So I'll send that along. As for the other one, I need to flesh out the sex scene and it has no deadline whatsoever. I'll send that in the next day or so.

Yeah, let's switch to that (while I prod Sing's mad art skillz - yep, you're right, the background's boring without the words, but the diagonal doesn't work either. Ze artiste, she'll be able to solve this).

I'm pretty open on the Icarus site design actually. I just want my irrelevant Buddhist art. ;)

The effect I want is 'soothing.' That's why I chose that dark blue. The fonts need to be large, easy to read. Smooth. That image on Icarus' Slash Fiction (http://home.earthlink.net/~dinkbird/id3.html) holds a sword that has a particular meaning for me (Manjushri's the 'muse' of Buddhism, so-to-speak). I should get a better version.

The image on that page - with the orange fellow holding the sword? - yeah, Harry Potter or not I still want to keep that. But I should get a clearer image. No, I didn't draw them, though i have done sculpture. Those images are geometrical in their exactness and take a lot more time than I have.

Depends when she needs it and how long it is...I'm still sick today, which means I'm going to have to spend the first half of this week catching up on homework. I could probably get to a short piece (under, I don't know, 6,000 words? that might be a bit long) Wed. or Thurs., but I won't really have time for a long one at all because finals start a week from tomorrow.

So, I'd probably say if you or she knows someone who'll be done soon, go with that; but if she doesn't mind waiting and it's short, I'd be happy to.

Actually--if she doesn't need it till after the 15th I'm done with school, so I could take a long thing then. I just realized this said "in the works" (teach me to reply to things when my head's in Arizona) so if it won't be done for a while...yeah. Time then.
