Percy Ficathon

Between taking four classes (17 credits I'm nuts), the Percy Ficathon, the Percy Ficathon website, writing for Percy Ficathon, writing original fiction, SNAFU... I'm utterly swamped.

I know a lot of you are feeling the same, some of you swapped stories (gosh I'm sorry silverthistle) and just started a couple weeks ago, other have the joys of writer's block (I call it writer's constipation) or mercury retrograde or the late stages of Ficathon Syndrome (signed up for every ficathon available - back when that sounded like a good idea).

I often find the PercyMuse to be a prima donna who needs "motivation" for everything. I.e., he's hard to write. But that's what makes him fun, too, IMHO.

Wonderful!!! My friends who I have pressed into beta slavery will be much happier now that I don't have to call them every hour to say, "So? What do you think? What's working? What isn't working? Is my dialog awful? My dialog is awful isn't it?" Right about then is when they hang up on me.

A few extra days will make worlds of difference! :o)

Mine is almost done actually, but it's the worst crap EVA. The sex scene is the best part, and as everyone know, I suck really BAD at writing sex, so that should tell you how awful it is. I'll be revising this baby for days.

ha! i'm waiting right up to the fifteenth, mainly because my story is like three paragraphs long, is nowhere near canonically correct and just bashes straight into the sex scene without intro, which just makes me feel dirty like a shite writer.

oh well, i love extensions. it's like discovering a prostate. (not that that's ever happened to me, but you know)
