Eeerie moments in the Percy Ficathon

I should have given people the weekend to post their Ficathon stories. What was I thinking, "Post it Saturday"?

Mine continues on apace.

singtoangels is doing an incredible amount of work, so we're not launching the website until tomorrow night. So I'm going to hold off on the master list until then as well.

More people have let me know what's going on with their stories, which really takes a load off. It really helps to know what's going on.

You see, I'm hearing from various people who've finished their stories, hopeful and wondering, "So, where's mine now?"

Coincidentally, their challenges tend to be the ones whose authors who are having the most trouble. It's like people have a feeling their challenge fic is floating like the Titantic. It's eerie.

There are some awesome new Percy Ficathon fics at weasleyworship. Just. Hysterical. The latest I've read, Percy as lawyer. Sort of. *snickers*

I'm about to fly out the door to get my son's shots updated. My cousin came over last night and there was much rowdiness and no working on coding those stories last night. ::screams:: This really sucks and I have to work tonight, too. Um. When I get home in a few, I'm going to do that racing thing to zip up everything I have so far for the site and send it to you. Gotta go now, though!

Oh, don't worry about reviews. Each and every story is getting a loving review over the next month or so, and plugged in my journal. A mile-long friendslist has to be good for something. merrycontrary and I just have a bit of a backlog, and if we put up too many at once, the stories stand in each other's sun.

If you have time to send a copy of your story to me, that would be great. The email is sengdongma@yahoo.com. Otherwise, I'm copying them from weasleyworship.

Ok, sure thing. My story needs a bit of italicising, tabbing and so forth, so I'll convert it to html, fix any coding, and send it to you, if that's ok. And sorry for being a bit pathetic about reviews- late upload and general business aren't good friends to reviews, but I was getting a bit panicky that nobody had apparently even seen it. Just me being silly.

Hey, I'm glad I'm not the only one who sticks out their lower lip when the reviews don't arrive. *prods fic* "Come on, guys. It's done. Here. Have at it."

I think people are waiting for the master list to go up. But there will definitely be an opportunately for more reviews when your fic goes up in lights on the arcade. It's just lost in the flood right now.

I've been doing it the hard way, of course, and copying the stories from weasleyworship (I can use the edit feature to copy all the formatting/HTML) and pasting them into documents. Then I've been emailing them to Sing who's designing the site and doing a lot of the coding (along with misspince, stiletto and iteag). But if you can think of a more complicated way of doing it let me know, because that's what I'll do, and count the extra work a virtue. *rolls eyes*

Thanks. I'm doing pretty cool. I quit the tutoring last week, and that's just taken a real load off. Now all I have to do is get caught up on the stuff that fell by the wayside during that intense two weeks. Unfortunately, the list is rather long.

But the pressure's off. Er. Now I have to finish my Percy fic. Heh.
