Working on SNAFU, the next part of Beg Me For It and this popped up:

Ron shuffled the cards and dealt them between the empty glasses, wet circles and wine stains on the dull table.

"Can you get the passwords or not?" Draco was at the edge of his patience.

"It's a breach of confidence," Percy waffled. His knees shifted uncomfortably as he plucked up his cards. He blinked several times as he examined them, and adjusted his glasses.

"They're Death Eaters, Percy," Ron said, exasperated.

Draco grit his teeth, "They are not. On. Our. Side."

Percy reordered his cards. "It's a matter of personal integrity…" he began. Ron threw his cards down and Percy flinched, "Oh screw your ethics, Percy!"

Percy put a hand to his face, and sighed. "They trust me."

Draco stood and leaned over the back of Percy's chair, breathing down his neck. "Can you get us the passwords? Never mind will you. Can you?"

"Yes." Percy's voice was small. "They're updated every week, and every time there's a breach of security."

"Will you?" Ron said, unmoving, pinning his brother with his eyes. The room paused for a breathless moment.

Then Percy nodded, softly.

"Yes."

He swallowed and sagged back into his chair.

"Will they be the right passwords?” Draco sneered. His opinion of Percy had continued to drop once he'd joined their rebellion, and for once Ron had no argument.

"Of course they will!" Percy bristled. "I would never lie to you."

He laid down his cards, face up. "I'm… I'm going home. Don't feel very well." He swept out the door, forgetting his cloak.

"It's not home, you idiot," Draco shouted after him, "it's a prison."

"Shh!" said Ron, "leave him alone, Draco." But the door simply shut with a soft click.

Ron let out the breath he'd been holding, and reached over to collect Percy's cards.

Draco stalked over the door to make sure it was solidly shut. Then he leaned his fist against it and glared at the floor. "I swear to you, Ron. If he screws this up, I'm going to take a special moment before we all die to kill him myself."

Ron was thoughtful, chewing his lip. Then he nodded quietly. "Don't worry. He'll come through. He's just Percy."

Then he took a closer look at Percy's cards. "But it's a damned good thing he left tonight."

"Why's that?"

"He had a royal flush!"

"Some people have all the luck," Draco groused.

Mmmmm ... 's a hard call. For what my vote is worth among all the gazillions of SNAFU-lovers, I think wait and post it whole. We will wait, and we will manage somehow, and it will be all the better to have a story at the end with all the integrity and consistency you would wish for.

Little scenes like this one are gorgeous on their own, even if they're out-takes from the final product. Your Ron and Draco are so strongly drawn they make each tiny scene feel like a complete ficlet. So please, whatever you do, keep feeding us these every now and again to keep the cravings at bay!

Well I'm out of school, and not yet at work, so I've a little time to work on it devotedly.
