Sheer coincidence

Okay, this is it. Off to school for the first time in fifteen years - Today. So nervous I really fouled up a meeting at the office this morning. Ah well, it seemed to go better later.

Heh. Why do women wear nylons, thin silk blouses and short skirts to meetings -- and then complain about the lack of heat? Through sheer coincidence, all the women sat on the side of the room by the vents. And froze. I had two technicians on it, but we all agreed it was a lost cause.

Oh how cute! He's sick!

My boyfriend wildernessguru looks adorable when he's sick and miserable. There's these blinking, bleary soft blue eyes peeking over the down comforter, long blond hair spread over the pillow -- 6' 1" of man curled up in the tiniest ball you can imagine.

*hack, cough, sniffle*

Theft of homes. Grrrr.

Watched a 60 Minutes story on how laws meant to allow private property to be used for highways, schools and so forth are being used to force elderly people off 'Prime Real Estate' for developers. Justification: the developers will bring in more tax money.

Wow. Wonder what those City Council agendas look like?
