Aha! A diagnosis.
Sep. 16th, 2004 05:32 pmOn Wednesday I was sitting at my desk when -- wow, my ear started ringing and I got dizzy and it felt like a sonic boom went off. I actually looked up to see if a jet was at crash-landing altitude overhead, and then glanced around to see if maybe there was an earthquake. No. Everyone acted qute normally. I just held my ear and waited for it to clear.
I stayed dizzy. My ears were popping (but wouldn't pop) like I was at altitude.
I stayed home, and the same thing happened yesterday, where all I could was sit there and hold my ear. Yow. Another time I was reading, and you know that high-pitched ringing that you get when you get clocked? Yeah. That For no reason at all. In a silent room.
Then the pin-in-the-ear earache started, and the ow-who's-using-my-ear-as-a-bottleopener started in the other ear.
Went to the doctor today. Ear infection.
Whew. Glad that's settled. *pops pills*
ETA: Caught up on the sickie replies now.
