WG has let me back on the computer (hush, I know I binged earlier -- I was having the computer taken away for a few hours).
Just saw an ad for the military, which, gee I wonder why, is having a little trouble meeting their recruitment goals.
The ad showed nifty video-game-like satellite and infrared images, zeroing in on these cool planes, and then said:
"How would you like to track hundreds of aircraft from thousands of miles away? Join the Navy and be part of AEGIS!"
Yep. How to sell military service in war time. Nevermind "Be all you can be" and "The few, the proud" -- advertise the job that's thousands of miles away from the war. Guns? What guns? You'll be nowhere near them.
*still laughing*
I notice that the Navy during a desert war is probably a good bet.
