Troop build-up in Iraq.

wildernessguru was reading about the idea of a troop build-up in Iraq and retired generals' response to it. I really have to dig up the article, but to paraphrase the generals:

There's no point in a troop build-up without a plan. What are you going to do with those increased troops? How will they be utilized? Just throwing more men into the mix isn't going to change a thing.
