*sigh* Hacker's at it again.

Once again I'm locked out of any changes to the Percy Ficathon site.

I have a hacker who keeps getting my password and using my account. and_love then locks the account, and then we go around in a circle.

Am now trying to reach and_love, yet again.

How is he getting my password? I'm dumping cookies and offline content Religiously.

He mightn't have a trojan in your comp? They're supposed to be able to read passwords (and credit card numbers, brr)

Yes. I suspect he does. I think he was able to get passwords where they were saved to auto-connect. We didn't have a problem until I decided to save the new password to the muse-wanted.com server. So, no more saving passwords. I don't need to, because I do remember them.

Fortunatly WG and I are paranoid about using credit cards on the Net. Absolutely paranoid. We just don't.

Just as thought, a way to keep from having to install yet another piece of software on your computer would be to go to mcaffee.com and use their free online virus scan.


There's a free anti-virus made by F-prot, but I would have to get back to you on the means of getting it. There's also the free program called 'Spyware Search and Destroy' that may help too. http://www.nonags.com/ has a good crop of freeware anti-syware and anti-virus programs listed.
