Are there any Spanish speakers on my friendslist?

Well, if you're there, how would you like to read Call of the Wild in Spanish?

The translation:

No, I can't read a word of it. But it's supposed to be some quality work there. *waves cheerily* Hope you enjoy it.

ETA: Yes, some of my stuff has been translated, but into Thai and Chinese, not Spanish.

Studied seven years of it and my mother was born in Honduras. I don't think I'd read it in the Spanish; it tends to boggle my mind since I can't remember it enough and miss things.

However, my mother might be interested if I pointed it out to her. Unless, that is...this is a fic that you wouldn't really recommend to a het fan. Is it?

Oh but it's het, it's het (and mostly Gen).

Call of the Wild is a classic. It was one of the first novel-length HP fanfics, and it's almost entirely original.

It's set in Romania and describes what happened to Remus Lupin for the 12 years after the death of James (and apparently Peter) and the incarceration of Sirius, and his return to Hogwarts. It's sort of a gothic novel, and manages to be dark (in a gothic way), dramatic, and funny.

Awesome. I think that might interest her and maybe (I'm hoping) change her views about HP being something 'just for kids'.
