Draco's lashes fell in a soft arc, his shoulders relaxed. The habitual scowl gentled as his hands moved, stroking the soft, furry bundle curled in his lap. Little brown ears flicked, and the kitten stretched, looking up at him adoringly with wide blinking eyes, as a smile touched his face.

[damn. I'm now imagining the Death Eaters using cute little kittens and other baby animals to infiltrate Hogwarts. As all the Hogwarts girls start squeeing over teh cute and bring them into their dormitories, they'd be perfectly placed for spying. Who would ever expect that fuzzy little wide-eyed kitten of being an agent of Voldemort?]
