Bookmark time!

Hello everyone.

Well, muse-wanted has had all sorts of problems. I'm sure you've all seen how myself and the other hostees have been regularly locked out of uploads to our sites (sorry, ellensmithee. I missed the window where it was working). I'm not well-versed in tech-issues, and don't follow the shifting financial problems except that I'm convinced the site is too expensive for the owner to run.

But I have good news. I learned that I'm allowed more than four pages with Earthlink after all. I also found out I had unused webspace. Yeah! *pumps fist in the air*!

So I've moved Icarus Slash Fiction back to its original site.

Also, I've set up a new mirror site for the Percy Ficathon, which now can be updated more consistently.

(It comes free with my dial-up - knew there had to be something good about dial-up).

I'll be updating this new Percy site this weekend with:

- Dream A Little Dream by ellensmithee
- hp_femme's story
- updated links page (with works from runragged and copperbadge).

Here's looking at you, Percy.

If you ever want to host something at glassknives.net just tell me an I'll set an account up. :) But I agree, dial-up provider webhosting was my saviour before I got a domain.

I just wasn't comfortable when you asked me to ask my friendslist for money. (And the site's been really unreliable.)

In my experience, once someone comes to me to fund-raise, that's only the beginning -- it's a sign of financial instability. If I'm ever going to fund-raise, it will be for starving Buddhist monks in India.

In my opinion you should take the entire site down and do it once you can easily afford it. Now it's not practical, and I would be supporting something that's not good for you.

As for my site, I'm still locked out (again), so there isn't much I can do, is there?

The funraising was to pay off the bill for what the hostee caused, the hosting itself is paid for for the future. I know I shouldn't of asked you, and I had a bad feeling in the first place.

I'm sorry it has caused you so many problems, and maybe someday you can see that it is not a bad site, and I am financially stable.

You never gave me a new password to use. I was going to ask you yesterday, but, well. Sorry.
