On NaNoWriMo...
Oct. 29th, 2004 10:45 pmWell, I was really hoping to do NaNoWriMo this year, but my school committments make it impossible.
Bummer. I was hoping to crank out some approximation of Snape Manor, the sequel to Primer to the Dark Arts.
Next time, though. I wrote Primer to the Dark Arts over a six week period in 2002, so I think I could do it. I wasn't part of NaNoWriMo, I'd just read a lot of unfinished WiPs and promised myself I wouldn't do that, so I'd better hurry.
Check it out if you have a chance. There's something about making a committment, "I'm going to finish this Now" that gets you pumped. And it's surprising the turns your story will take.

Date: 2004-10-30 03:41 pm (UTC)I wanted to finish CF. It's one of those unfinished WiPs that you promised yourself you wouldn't write... I wish I could find the time to knock out that in six weeks!
NaNo was the most fun I've had in a long time...

Snape Manor is perfect for Nanowrimo. It's outlined, but no work's been done on it.
