All evidence points to my being a solitary person. Relatively speaking.

Someone once insisted I'm an extrovert because I like to talk, and he insisted that I drew energy from being around other people. But that's not true. I pour energy out. Spend it like a wild shopping spree.

Then I must retreat, recharge.

The Puppy is in town again, and stayed with us for a week. Then he was back for the weekend. This is gonna be a regular weekend thing, but - whew.

Last night he left around 6-ish, and suddenly I found I could relax again. Start to get the Thanksgiving preparations done. Do homework. Hang out with wildernessguru (who was quite lovely this morning, smooth and sleepy-eyed, his long hair brushed like silk).

My Percy-porn was on hold while he was here (sorry, lizardspots!). I'm playing hooky from Work Study while figure out what homework I have for my Philosophy class this evening.

The Puppy's coming over every weekend, eh?

Oh.

Right this second I'm not feeling up to it.

That describes me as well. I can talk a mile a minute for 8 hours straight, but come home and not talk to anyone all night. I need to be quiet - to have down time.

I'm the same way... It gets me in trouble with my roommates because they always think that I'm angry ith them when I just come and lock myself in my room by myself.
