I'm wiped. I have, now, four stories, no, five, sketched out.

- One inspired by my collectible Cursed Artifacts, which was inspired by McTabby and a 'what magic have you invented' thread at FictionAlley. Snape insists on dragging Harry to an Auction of Cursed items. Bidding war with Narcissa Malfoy. Afterwards -

Harry: "Uh.. are there any other Cursed items in our house?"
Severus is silent.
Harry: "How many?"
Severus: "More than one."
Harry thinks.
Harry: "Is there anything from Voldemort?"
Severus: "Yes."
Harry: "Damn it, Severus! Where?!"
Severus: "On my bloody fucking arm, you idiot."
Harry: "Oh."

- Ron Weasley's First Signs of Magic. Fred and George have all sorts of helpful info.

- Severus Snape's First Signs of Magic. Very late. At age 12 in fact. Grandpa Eckard Snape is truly a scary man.

- Harry and Severus have a blow-out fight, and Harry runs to Ron. Again.

One hundred reviews in three days for the First Signs of Magic series. This happens to other people. My stories usually get, oh, a handful of flattering responses.

I'm now in withdrawal.

My Weasley brother smut is now called 'Ante Up!' and is located at:

Written for the RS.org Sleazy fic drive.

Erin, aka Flavored Sugar, tells me to expect flames.

Brodie's fic drive: This is a way non-authors and authors alike can participate in the RS.org Sleazy fic drive!

Okay, keep the sleazy... er... sensual story recommendations... er... coming. Oh. *winces* ouch. The imagery.

Just click 'Comment' and add your review and link to it. I'm really enjoying these stories.

Flame and Shadow by Maya
Alright guys, I don't usually like het. But I do like Ron. And this is a wonderful portrait, and - don't look at me like that - Pansy Parkinson as wild slut is perfect for him. She really is. And man, I liked this Pansy. Hermione threw the teaspoon down with a little sound where Pansy would have thrown the tray full of cups.

Why would they flame it? It's a lovely story...

You know, I think it's because it's twincest and squicky to a lot of people.

I thought it was terrific, and I'm not a fan of twincest. How can you take anyone seriously if they write to you and complain about being squicked even after having made it through all the warnings?

Anyway: more recs:

‘Harry Potter and the Jealous Husband’ by Lady K. d’Azrael. This is, believe it or not, a Harry/Voldemort story. And it's hilarious. It's not really smutty, but the Harry/Voldemort dynamic is actually believable. Example:

[Harry says]
"You’re getting far too paranoid by being on your own. Why don’t we invite some of your friends over for dinner, some of the Death Eaters?"
Voldemort wasn’t sure if he wanted to laugh or cry at that thought. "They’re not my friends, they’re my minions."

Ailei offers a plausible and hot James/Sirius in 'Can't Catch Me'

which follows 'Clued', I think (wasn't this a 3 part story? or am I imagining things?) which features Remus/Sirius/James:

Ellen Fremedon’s ‘Slowly but exceeding fine’ is unusual in having much more of an action-based plot than the average slash story, and is even *more* unusual for having one that not only works but is compulsive reading. And for being logical and well-thought out … But back to the sex. There’s some stuff in here that’s just toe curl-worthy.

I'm a big fan of all of Minx's stories, but I partiuclarly love this one 'Halloween' for telling so much of the narrative through the sex. And for the hilarious concept of the vlub, and the depictions of Snape and Harry.

Her 'Lost Feeling' and 'Fantasy into Reality' series are both great as well.

And Snaples is a terrific writer, though I didn't know which story to pick, so I chose this one for being so Slytherin-esque.

that's enough for now ....
