Snow! Snow! Snow!

There are big fluffy flakes falling from the sky. In Seattle.
It's sticking! A fine layer of white over everything, a coating that's dusted everything within the last ten minutes.
Some of these flakes are an inch across, they're huge.
It's up to a half inch now.
wildernessguru and I have turned off everything but the Christmas lights and are curled up on the couch, watching it gild the pine trees and the church steeple. This is Currier & Ives.

Date: 2005-01-10 04:48 am (UTC)I would do just about anything to get away from the Florida climate. My air conditioner is on right now. It's the middle of freakin' January and the air is on. Don't buy into the propoganda. Florida is not a tropical paradise. It is 10 months of hot sticky hell, with 2 months of decent weather thrown in to lure new victims. Plus, the land is flat as far as the eye can see.
