hp_dungeons is accepting applications for Albus Dumbledore. If you're interested in applying to write this role, please note the following:

1. Application does not guarantee acceptance; the application process will be open and stringent.

2. Anyone applying must make certain they have the time and inclination to devote to playing a pivotal character.

3. RPG experience is not necessary; writing experience is, as is the ability to work with a large group and cross-section of personalites/writing styles.

4. The appropriate applicant must be able to devise plots and join current plots at will.

5. Interested parties should email hp.dungeons@gmail.com for an application packet.

6. Requests for applications should be received by March 18. Applications should be returned by March 22.


By the way, guys, this is a fun-lovin', low-wank group. And you get to join our bizarre weekly chats to boot. But Dumbledore has to be played to a pretty high standard... the last Dumbledore was switchknife (she never posted in the community because of RL issues, but anyway, she set the benchmark).

We will, and you would be very welcome. We bring new characters in gradually.

There's a great deal of flexibility. People have allowed me to pretty much post as Percy whenever I'm able, since he's such a minor character. It works out rather well, though I wanted to do more during the recent AU!Dungeons and couldn't keep up. Some players post a huge amount and others, like myself and amanuensis1 post hardly at all.
