Motivation, where are you?

I have great story bunnies, plots sketched all the way out, only need the details filled in. I have energy and time. Yet every time I set down to type, I can't get started.

Takes off head. Rattles it. Really can't figure out what's wrong.

But I did write the NC-17 verion of the 'Midnight' chapter from Primer to the Dark Arts for Walking the Plank. Ah... now I have to find if it's actually better than the R version. Anyone wanna vote?

I've promised an NC-17 version to Telanu for a while, and I'm thinking of unveiling it first on 'Walking the Plank'

You don't know how happy that makes me --- both the promise, and that you'll archive it at one of my favourite sites.

Is there anything else you could do rather than write that might spur you into action? Any related things, like note-taking, re-reading canon, reading other people's stories (well, this might lead to more recommendations, lol), revision of other work.

Or do you work best under pressure? Sometimes I'm like that, and wish that I could break this habit.
