The Jack/Daniel Manifesto is what launched me into the Stargate Fandom.

I know a lot of people on my flist have friended me for the Harry Potter fics (and I've neglected you horribly), especially for the Snape, Harry/Snape, and of course Percy-ness.

So.

Come see the Snape/Harry Manifesto by atrata, which defines thorough. It gives you a complete tour, and there are fics in there I've never read, and I was an addict back in the day (before every waking moment was consumed by writing, not reading).

In other HP news:

I'm... scared to death to open Percyness: The Percy Weasley Archive to the public. It's mostly ready, just a coding problem to fix. So I'm waiting until school gets out in a few weeks (last day is the 16th) when I'll have some time to concentrate. Yes, yes, I know it's Percy and there won't be a stampede (sorry, Percy), but I've overloaded myself before.

Yes, that was a lovely manifesto, wasn't it? I touted it on my lj, too.

And atrata was too modest to mention it, but she's a fine Snape/Harry writer, herself. I particularly recommend her recently-completed In Between Days. It's a extremely well-done story, dark and psychologically complex, and impossible to categorize.

(dubious consent, however. But Harry does think that he wants it)

If you still have any taste for Snape/Harry, and don't mind the dubious consent aspect, I'd urge you to give it a try.

Dubious consent is a particular kink of mine. I'm not reading Snape/Harry these days, but that kink alone is lure enough. *saves link*

I'm reluctant to call it even dubious consent, since what happens in this story is so complex. It's like trying to grasp quicksilver. Do put it on your "to read" list; you'll thank me, afterwards.
