The f-list add and cull cringe

Several people friended me over the last few days (hi, frogspace!). I tried to friend you back, but I'd hit limit of the number of people I can friend.

A few of you might know of my "no unfriending" policy. I haven't bothered to chase around and unfriend people who've unfriended me.

Er. How's that working out for me?

Yeah, not so good.

I've 100 people friended who unfriended me a million years ago. Not to mention dead journals like isolde9 - yep, still there on the old friendslist.

It's like a very dusty closet.

I'm cleaning up. Going back to the 2003 and 2004 unfriendings and deleting people who unfriended me. Trouble is, some of these may have been temporary journal deletions or people who unfriended and then re-friended later.

(Why am I getting Re-Pet flashbacks?)

Anyhow, if you haven't unfriended me (recently) and find yourself unfriended -- it's a mistake. Let me know and I'll add you again.

That's impressive. I can't imagine keeping up with a friends list that huge. You must have some special space and time warping skills.

Nah. I just read randomly. It's rather like watching a river flow by. It looks like one body of water but it's really many, many drops.

It catches people off-guard occasionally, as I comment in a journal they assume I don't read.
