Shaking my head as if waking from a dream, I find:
- School is complete, until the fall. I'm pinwheeling my arms, not ready.
- Tutoring is over and I'm wondering how my students did on their essays. I want to be a real teacher just so I can see the end result. :)
- I need to find a job for the summer.
- The house is... unspeakable. Wow, look at the carnage.

hp_dungeons is running a hell of a story right now. Check it out, (especially the transcript of Harry's questioning -- wow). It's the sort of story you can jump in the middle of and still catch a lot of the nuances.
- I have at least one Stargate story in need of a beta.
taselby? Any takers?
- I have tons of email, reviews, other fandom things to catch up on.
My Philosophy of Religions professor went out of his way to say thank you, that he learned a lot about Buddhism from me. He joked he learned so much from his students this quarter he should have been paying for the class.
Yeah, you don't have an elective Philosophy of Religions class without having a lot of very interested people show up.
Good mix of serious Christians, two very knowledgeable Jews, two Marxists looking to debunk religion, several serious Philosophy students with little religious background, an angry former Catholic working out his relationship with the whole "religion" thing (actually very seriously spiritual, and seriously pissed off, great for some really confrontational questioning), two Buddhists (one ex-nun, one life-long Vietnamese Buddhist), and a cluster of general metaphysical students, one with a lot of knowledge of Native American spiritual traditions.
We completed the course Tuesday with a lively discussion between myself (one of the Buddhists) and the two Marxists.
Yep. Damned interesting class.
