*Jaw drops* Snaples has taken pity on me
May. 31st, 2003 10:25 amI sooooooo wanted to win
snaples website contest at la Petite Mort, where if you match the number on the counter, you win art-by-
snaples. I missed it by 5 this morning. Augh!
snaples took pity on me, and since previous people have not collected their art, she's going to do a cover for Primer to the Dark Arts!
*hyperventilates*
Now to panic. Of the trillions of Harry/Snape images in my mind, which one will work for her style. It has to be intimate, reflect the book...

Date: 2003-06-01 08:48 am (UTC)BTW, I've been meaning to ask --- is the version that's now up at your site the officla version? I have a copy of the ff.net one on my hard drive, and only wanted to read the perfected version when you're happy with it.

I need to update
Date: 2003-06-01 12:09 pm (UTC)I need to update ff.net with the latest version. I did add the two new chapters, 'The Amazing Ron Weasley' and 'Midnight.'
Midnight made the story a lot steamier, and since I added 'The Amazing Ron Weasley' people see Ron a little more clearly: both his sexuality that's just been lit off, his new confidence in himself, and his confusion. Now no one seems to think he's abusing Harry, rather they see that feelings have been unleashed that he doesn't have a real handle on yet.
I will never be happy with it, just bear that in mind.
I think the best version is on Schnoogle (www.schnoogle.com/authorLinks/Icarus) with the sole exception of the NC-17 version of 'Midnight.' That chapter I would take from the chapter 14 link to InkStained Fingers on my site.
The cleanest version will go up on Walking the Plank, though I am stuck as to whether or not to add a slightly lengthened sex scene in 'Eureka.' There is also a steamier version of 'Morning Breath' that I have to run by CLS to see if I'm right in thinking it adds nothing. But I've always intended the Walking the Plank version to have 'more.'
