I picked up the kitty and my hands sank through three inches of fur.

You heard it here first: it's going to be a cold, snowy winter in Seattle.

Now wildernessguru has made us minestrone soup with mozarella cheese sprinkled on top and...mmmm...he's baking chocolate chip cookies. Ah, autumn.

Oh, I am the jealous. It's still 88 degrees here, and I am dying for some crisp autumn weather. So, by them time I actually get to Seattle (mid-Nov) it's probably going to be effing cold, right? Grrr, I hate missing the good seasons...

Well, Seattle's never effing cold. Though it'll probably be raining every day till January, at which point the temp will dip below freezing and we'll have a day or two of snow that'll melt off.

As a sub-zero Detroiter, I have a much higher (lower?) standard for what qualifies as "cold."

Mmm, cold and rainy. At least it will be novel. I just found out the exact dates I have to be in Seattle, and it's the weekend the GOF movie comes out. Somebody hates me.
