LOL! I'm just cynical enough to be amused that Bush staged a phony press conference with prepped officers set to feed him pat lines. He did the same thing in New Orleans.

My favorite line is still Bush saying, "There is tremendous support for your efforts." Riiiiiiight. Like our soldiers don't have live journals and internet access. Jeeze.

The Bush administration's solution to everything: lie, and hope nobody checks.

Which is still marginally better than Tony Blair's "lie and have your toughs remove any inconvenient senior citizens who have the nerve to challenge you" approach.

Not that this is a comfort, but ....
