Colleges are starting to send me recruitment info.
Just got one from a very famous university:
- no application fee
- automatic scholarship consideration
- no required essay
- quick admission consideration
Tulane University.
New Orleans.
Tell me, do they have any teachers left?
ETA: Look! They filled in my name and address for me on the application.

Not to mention, um, actual teachers-? That's needed in a school, isn't it?

Seriously, they've been bottom of the SEC for like three generations. I went to Florida when Spurrier was quarterback.)

Despite being below sea-level, it's a pretty good school.

Date: 2005-11-14 04:12 pm (UTC)Also, I had the misfortune to return north to live, so I was unable to use Tulane's good (but surprisingly regional) reputation as a top-flight university. If you live somewhere else in the country, it's possible to go to a school that's just as good, doesn't cost any more than Tulane, and will allow you to conveniently intern and networkj while in school.
All that said, New Orleans -- pre-Katrina, anyway -- was a blast.
