Remix

[icarus]

Icarus taps the microphone.

"Testing, 1... 2... 3..." It squeaks and she cringes. "Sorry." Icarus clears her throat.

"Um. I just wanted to let you guys know that the Remix is going on right now. That's remixredux. There're lots of SGA writers, and HP and LotR writers. I spotted a few SG-1, but I think we need some more of you guys. The sign-up has just started."

Icarus coughs, making the mic squeak again.

"Um. Yeah. Come join up. It looks like lots of fun. I mean, I've always wanted to see one of my fics remixed. I'm sure you have, too."

While that would be awesome, I totally don't have the time to do this. :(

I don't either, I'm mad to try. But I figure if I pick a shorter piece and do it early, on a weekend, I can do it.

Of course, I just stayed up all night writing a story when I really ought to have been doing something else.

I would... but i don't think I have enough stories. Corvus Fallere doesn't count because it's not finished, and everything else i've written is short and not cool...

Well, if your short pieces are over 500 words... seriously, you don't need cool stuff. In fact, I suspect people will go over the weird or slightly incomplete feeling stories.

Not trying to sell you on it, just thinking out loud.
