Would you like to listen to some slash read to you in a soft sexy male baritone?

My voice isn't appropriate for most of my stories (except for First Signs Of Magic) but wildernessguru just volunteered to record some fics. Yes!

Could anyone tell me:

a) what PC software I need to record these? It needs to be compatible with an older system running Win98. And

b) if you any recommendations for mics, I would love to hear it.

In the meantime... which stories would you enjoy hearing?

ETA: Someone mentioned it, so I should clarify. Primer to the Dark Arts would have to be read by me. wildernessguru has given me a page-count limit of 20 printed pages. So with Beg Me For It he'd only be reading the first, and most popular, part.

It *was* a nice idea, yes. But it's also a lot of work. I know from reading my own stories out loud to people how *long* it can take. Yes'm, yes. Sigh.

Well, the fantasy was nice while it lasted.

Time isn't the problem -- we just got hammered with that car repair bill. Cracked gasket or something on top of the alternator replacement, timing belt and the water pump. It's even worse than we thought. I've bought entire cars for this much. It's wiped us clean.

Oh, so getting recording software and whatnot is the problem. Bummer. We have a car in the shop at the moment, too. Haven't heard yet what the financial damage is going to be.
